Makes sense. Flames desperately need offense. Dube could be going the other way.

Flames would return to their level from last year if they got Tarasenko without giving up much from their current roster.

Having said that, I hope their GM develops a mild form of Pejorative SlurATION and takes Boeser from the Canucks.

Lol so you took Friedmans comments out of context and linked two teams that are trying to do the same thing. Then you mention that it might be Dube going the other way, which quickly turns into Pelletier and kylington for barbashev? Lmao solid thread making OP!

Yeah the kid who led the AHL in rookie goals last year is a scrub.

As far as price per point goes, he probably would be better.

lol
He’s not better then Taresanko that’s ridiculous he’s 21 years old with no nhl experience. Taresanko would be a top 3 forward on the flames

The point is he costs 10x more.
Read it again, maybe slower

The last thing the Flames need is to give up yet more futures for another post apex expensive forward.

We also have a funny President who gave the green light to his GM to sign said forwards that don't know how to play defense, and is now angry at said forwards and the coach!

"Jim" is still in Vancouver.

Why is this still labeled as coming from Friedman? This is not what Friedman said. The tweet, NHLtraderumors, AND the OP deliberately took two separate comments out of context because they happened to be spoken consecutively.

The two statements are actually mutually exclusive, saying that a deal is not pressing for Calgary. And, opposed to Calgary, if someone is going to make a move, keep an eye on the Blues.

Better get in line for Barbashev. He'll probably get a 1st with 50% retention if they sell him at the TDL, regardless of how bad his numbers are.
