I mean...it wasn't even a scoring chance honestly. It was a nothing shot that Woll put back on a tee for Zary. I really do understand that the 4th line has been a complete disaster....that doesn't mean everything bad that happens while they are out there is on them either though.

This, it's just lazy to blame them for that tire fire goaltending. I suppose Kampf wiffing on the shot to cause the break back, but he has to save that muffin, and to give up that pad rebound is atrocious.

The problem is it's construction. Kampf is a good 4th line center, not going to score much but you can play him him against the other teams top 6 without it being a crisis.

Now that he's paired with Reaves, you still aren't going to get any offense and now if he gets trapped vs the other team's top 6 it's a disaster.

Reaves has basically ruined any value that Kampf had.

I agree that wasn't a good move on Woll at all, no doubt. He usually is very good at controlling his rebound but in general, the transition game of the team is in the shitter and 4th line is also susceptible to it. Regardless of it, they will get an earful, any of the coaches I've played under will throw blame and then immediately point it out later on
