Matthews hurt?

I don't think so.

Matthews was very consistent last year. No question. But every other year he often has streaks like this where he seems disinterested.

I asked in the offseason if last year was an anomaly, or if he's matured into a more consistent player.

Starting to look like anomaly.

Oh well. When he's on, he scores like 7 goals in three games. So can't complain too much I guess.

Toronto has a tough time getting the usual fire power we're accustomed to. Usually the other team scores first. This team used to be able to put up 4-5 goals with utter ease. Now they struggle for goals this season, I don't get it.

This team have no depth, no D man knows how to shoot the damn puck and Matthews clearly isn't himself. It's easy to see why they don't score goals.

I will cut his some slack this season for now bc he just had surgery, missed camp and pretty much still recovering.
