I love Kadri, I truly do, but sometimes I worry about his antics and whether or not we want that kinda extra curricular stuff on this team. He's a good player but he has a tendency to get involved in drama more often than most.

As long as the diving draws him far more calls than it gets him, it's not a problem for the team. As far as the other antics go, the only thing that sticks out massively that I don't like is sometimes the way he can get out of focus when involved in a personal beef.

I like Gaudreau, and would hae no problem with him, or Marner not fighting in a situation like that. I have no problem with turtling, you shouldn't have a fight after a clean hit, it's stupid. What I have an issue with i Gaudreau mocking Kadri for turtling as I he would have did anything different, guys like Lucic can mock someone for that, guys like Gaudreau just look stupid doing it.

Yeah it's utterly ridiculous. You get slashed in the back of your knees. Both knees! Of course a person is going to fall down. Give me a break. Plus what he's supposed to then fight a person while down on his knees on the ice? That's just stupid.

Let's see the TSN panel all get slashed in the back of their knees and see how they feel about the call after that.

It is so frustrating to watch this kind of refereeing - not sure why he was penalized and the comments from your own fan base is so annoying

It's funny how the talk is about Kadri's "embellishment" and not the fact that Jooris the scrub attacking a guy on the ice and punching away, only getting 2 minutes for it.

By the way, Jooris slashed Marincin earlier. Looks like someone needs a taste of their own medicine.

So Kadri lays out a hit similar to Giordano's hit. Kadri's retaliation is a gesture and some jawing. Gaudreau's and Jooris' retaliation is a couple of slashes to the back of the legs and a good mauling (which the refs just stood by and watched) and Kadri gets a penalty for it somehow. Maybe he sold it a little bit, but those slashes were nasty and definitely hurt a lot. I've got a few of those by accident and they hurt like hell; Jooris and Gaudreau did it deliberately so that must be that much worse. I do hope Gaudreau and Jooris get fines or suspensions for that. They deserve it. I'd say a gesture is a lot lower on the scale than two players trying to injury another in a tag team.

I'd also do something about the refs. At least two were just standing by while Kadri was mauled.
