I don't want to hear any guff from you, Mike. This is what it is all for.

Auston-Matthews-ZSC.jpg

Don't make me do this to someone else Mike

They'll never play hockey again

It's for the best, Babcock. It's an Unfortunate Set of Circumstances.... It's No One's Fault...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Things we should know:

Bernier is probably starting.

Most of the Kids are more than Likely Playing (unsure about the Goat)
---Sosh Out, Komarov In out.

Leafs have won a few games [minus the Panthers game].
---4 of the last 7. Oi! Stop that!

Flames played [and won] last night.

Bozak could play today [Meaning Nylander might draw on the wing] - Bozak out. Holland Out. everyone's out.

Matthews is yours.

Don't let him go. Don't let the bad bald man take him away.

Key matchup:Johnny Gaudreau vs. Connor Carrick. A pair of pint-sized but very skilled players line up against each other. Listed generously as five-foot-nine, Gaudreau is a fearsome scorer, leading the Flames with 24 goals and 70 points (through Saturday). Listed even more generously as five-foot-11, Carrick has two goals in his last three games as he finds his way on the Leafs’ blue line.

Need to know: The Flames went into Sunday’s game in Montreal with a 3-1-1 record in their last five. Goalie Nicklas Backstrom was scheduled to get his first start in 14 months . . . The Flames were 14-14-2 vs. Eastern Conference teams . . . Freddie Hamilton, Dougie’s older brother, scored his first as a Flame on Friday agianst Colorado . . . The Flames were without forward Sam Bennett (upper body), defenceman Ladislav Smid (upper body) and goalie Karri Ramo (torn ACL) against the Canadiens . . . Flames captain Mark Giordano has equalled his career-high for points, 48, set last season.

There's a good chance that we may win.

Hopefully Calgary competes hard.

With Calgary having played last night, and having the worst road record in the league that is a good possibility.

That's kind of nuts, isn't it? The way this season has gone statistically, with Bozak and especially JVR out, is just unbelievable . . . but yeah. We will in all probability not have anyone even CLOSE to a 60 pt scorer, never mind 50. Kadri better make it to 40 . . .

We are never gonna gain ground on Edmonton.
Every time I check they played 3 more games than us ... so annoying

We are in last place, with three points LESS than Edmonton... What do you mean..?

All we have to do, is not let them get lower... They can't lose points.., only make more.. or stay the same..

Besides, the top five "pickers" will be shuffled a bit with the lotto, anyway.., so relax my friend.. :)

It appears that if there are any more call-ups needed for tonight's game,
that Lou has decided that Budsfan.. will be called up..., as soon as Lou negotiates
a royalty settlement with BUDWEISER... and they accept Budsfan's Rider agreement
to have the Bud-Lite Girls as the Leafs ice-crew for the evening.... #Don'tsuethejoker

No idea how we can win a game with that lineup.....But you never know.

In the end we'll see what Calgary has in them after playing yesterday.

We could win those 3 games, if we win tonight we are 1 point back only
