Question for my fellow HF Jets: will you watch any of this year’s playoffs? If yes, what series or team(s)? Me, I’m curious if the Leafs can finally win a round.

Woot Wheeler goal and Ehlers pass.

No, I will not watch any NHL games. I will watch World Championships, CHL and the Moose if any of their games are televised. There is a thread dedicated to this topic.

An unleashed Nik is a what this team needs going forward

I was just thinking that. If the new coach that comes in can embrace the skill and creativity some of these guys have I think we get right back into the dance.

Morrissey clearly is showing another gear and a whole new dimension to his game in the ozone. Ehlers can join Conner as a star winger if given the ice time and leash. You got a horse of a center who can get you 30 in Dubois. Add in Perfetti and Heinola and the skillnof the core excites me.

Beyak should drop the puck on Sunday
And the arena announcer should make Beyak stand at center ice and preface the puck drop with…
“This is the 774th ceremonial puck drop in NHL history, 42nd in the NHL this year and the 17th in NHL Jets history. Fun fact, this is the second Beyak to ever take a ceremonial face off as Montgomery Beyak participated in one back in 1923 with the Montreal Maroons. 53% of ceremonial face offs have occured on Sunday nights. Chalk up another one so make that more like 54% now. Let’s check in down between the benches with Kevin Sawyer for his thoughts.”
