Well done with the GDT, and a very fitting tie to the castaways. When I was a kid I had no appreciation for how much of a hottie Maryanne was.

Tonight's game could read like the old Comcast show descriptions when they first started doing that. Every episode for Gilligan's island had the same description:

"The castaway's plan to flee the island was foiled by Gilligan's antics. Hilarity ensues."

Replace that with, "The Jets attempt to complete at an NHL level was foiled by lazy backchecking, porous defense and poor rebound control. Hilarity ensues."

Glad you guys enjoyed the GDT. Hopefully the game is somewhat entertaining as well.
As for me, it’s Mary Ann all the way. Ginger would have been way too high maintenance. Plus she looks too much like Nate Schmidt.

He will be fine under a coach that makes him accountable for lazy play. We will surely be on the short end of any deal if we move on from him this summer. Selling low isnt the best idea. He would likely bring in a haul at the 2024 TDL.

Hope to see Connor pot a few goals tonight.

A couple years ago I started humming this theme song and I had a flash of Wheeler and Scheifele at the “Millionaire and his wife” part. Thought it was pretty appropraite - and sadly still is.
The only reason this GDT exists is because I wanted to get that one line into a GDT. Lol.
That and the uncharted “dessert aisle”.
