What I’ve seen of Ehlers on PP1 just makes me mad that Maurice and Lowry were both too dump to put him there!

You have to ask yourself what exactly did Maurice learn in his 20 years of coaching ? We poters can all see the talent Ehlers has, what's the matter with these guys ??

Well Maurice hasn’t exactly been totally unsuccessful. He’s had some good runs. He was just kept around too long here. You don’t last as long as he has without being at least passable at his job. How many coaches have come and gone while he’s stuck around?

Maurice’s MO was always stick with the vets and keep the captain and his letter guys happy regardless of their level of play at the expense of “team”, for Maurice staying employed was more important than results

Some want Stastny he has a 3.7 ticket this year, PLD wants money, Apples, Svetch and Harkins are RFA so a bump up if you want to retain

Don't know about other posters, but I'd love to see James Patrick to get a shot at head coach for the Jets. Well spoken, has a lot of poise and confidence when he speaks, and is defensive minded. Added to that he was a top NHL defenseman, and has done a great job with the ICE. He's the man for the job imo.

I'd move Dillion first, Samberg looks to be a much better fit with Pionk and brings everything Dillion does but has more talent and a better first pass.

I'd move Dillon first too...then I'd move Schmidt second.

6m is to much for what he provides to this team, I sure we can find something off the farm or get a serviceable d man in a trade or ufa

Given what we have seen we should be able to run this forward core but insert a line based around Scheifele and Perfetti. We don't need that much cap space imo.

This team has a ton of talent, especially if Perfetti pans out like I think he will. We just ned the right Coach to bring it all together, and make it "happen."

I don't disagree but he might fit well if we go with more modern puck moving and offensive coach. Also likely harder to move him then Dillion. Teams like those types.
