I suspect Lomberg and Pospicil to act like total tards out there, lets hope MSL can slide in Pez somehow. Even just for a better forecheck, dude deserves a some icetime over some of these other idiots.

Still no Roy call up is pretty crazy to me. Newhook has been a complete disaster this year yet he's given unlimited chances in the top 6.

Maybe Roy isn't in the teams plan due to work ethic/attitude concern (just a theory). He isn't a HuGo pick after all, no strings attached.

Not directed at you, but I am beyond fed up with this work ethic excuse. Most of the guys on the team are mailing it in consistently. If they care so much about work ethic, they would have sent a message by waiving the likes of Dvorak/Armia and scratching Newhook. Hell even Slaf despite his production looks extremely disengaged so far this season.

Yes I don't disagree, just going from what I read on the board (maybe these are false rumors). But I have read he had a really bad attitude, not just lazy but un-coachable and self centered. Might be just BS.

He seems to be producing and working hard just fine in Laval. I agree though... work ethic excuse IS a BS, because 1/2 the team now or more consistently doesn't show up. And besides, don't we have the greatest motivator as our coach? :D

Sit Newhook, sit Dvorak - get Wawa and Tuch over here. Put Pezz in. Unleash Xhakaj. Let's kick some ass for once!

I really hope Hutson will take Dach's spot on PP1 tonight. Dach is simply not ready for that kind of role yet and MSL keeps sending him. He's hurting the already fragile team.

Work ethic/attitude is trumped by scoring goals. What’s good for Michkov, is good for Roy. Unless he’s doing something illegal our second PP needs help.

So what was wrong with more or less 2 lines working fine? Suzuki, Slaf, CC and Evans, Gally and Anderson?

MSL is going down the blender route now. And people say he can't adapt :D

Looks like Struble will sit this one out?
Did he show too much emotion. ? Must scratch him

Sadly the forward lineup in the OP is our best possible combo right now - what a sad season this is going to be

Jake Evans being the best option at 2C is on Hughes and Gorton, not MSL. While the coaching staff shares some of the blame, you can't put out the message that you want to be in the mix yet provide no depth to your staff.

Slaf-Evans-Gally would be a better line, and I can't believe I am saying this.

Yup, they'd be a good cycle unit. You have a speedy, defensive conscious center with a playmaker (Slafkovsky) & a net front guy in Gallagher. It would be our best defensive line by far & probably add offense in the way Tatar-Danault-Gallagher did.

Newhook - Dvorak - Anderson is a pretty ugly 3rd line, but oh well. Armia on the 4th is where he should be. Kapanen needs to be sent back to SHL.

The expectation was Dach would be 2nd line center. He was pretty decent before his knee injury, but he's been absolutely shit. -14 is just f***ing laughable.

In hindsight, we should have signed or traded for a mid-roster center, though, because Dvorak has completely lost his ability to win face-offs, which is like the only thing he was ever really good at.

Dach & Dvorak are both playing severely below expectations. I mean Dvo had low expectations coming into the season, and he still can't manage to be even a little bit helpful.

Almost everyone on this board was excited about Dach coming back & providing us depth. Suzuki, Dach, Evans & Dvorak isn't a bad center unit - theoretically, but D & D have choked the f***ing optimism out of everyone. They've both been atrocious at center leaving us Suzuki & Evans and a not-yet-ready Kapanen as our centers.
