This is still the same team that came into the season with no real expectations. I think they've proven their point as far as chip on their shoulder we're going to be better than people think. They've played hard but it's also just unrealistic for that mentality to carry a whole season. Especially losing now two top nine guys to injury there's just not enough there. Playoff teams are rounding into shape at this point and there aren't a ton of easy points out there anymore.

Could definitely see us taking a tumble down the standings the next month or two.

Nice to see Rango pick up his game. He’s looked dangerous for about 6 straight even if the points haven’t been there.

The combo of being injured to start the year and signing the big extension(I know it hasn't even started yet) he gets a bit of a pass from me. Kuzmenko I got no excuse for.

The 4th line needs a major overhaul as it's been a serious liability for this club for the past 20 games.

The PK is just laughably bad. Why keep rolling Backlund/Rooney out there together?
