The broadcast was awful. Typical Sportsnet pro any team but the Jets. Very frustrating.

Jets played fine, Wolf played better. The Flames didn't win this game, he did. Sometimes you just have to tip your cap to the effort.

Tuned into the Calgary v Blackhawks game on Monday, as it was on Prime, and he did the same thing to Chicago. Only difference was he faced significantly less shots and let in 2. Because of his small size, he has to play more of an acrobatic style than Hellebuyck and is very fun to watch. An excellent puck handler as well. He's going to be a great goaltender for the Flames for years to come. I do wonder how he'll fare when age catches up to him and can't rely as much on his athleticism, but that's neither here nor there.

Playoff style game - fun to watch.. but by the first intermission already felt like we were snakebit

Every good play that I saw Stan make turned out to be Samberg. Will be hard to believe that anyone can defend the pylon tonight...

Ehlers still flying, legit think Andrew Copp or Boone Jenner is the type of player to complement him... Lowry is close though.

Not sure what we'd have to lose by press boxing Perfetti and trying out Chib for a few games.

Becoming apparent that Kupari is not a 3C... would actually like to see what Gus can do on that line

Trade for a LHD PK specialist and this team is a cup contender - really rolling.

I cannot tell you how glad I am that the double post-er didn’t put them up 3-1. To have such a dominant game and then have two goals THAT unfortunate would have been ooooooo.

That's what I was thinking too. He left his lane as well just prior to that leaving the shooter with too much time and space. Would it be piling on to say that goal against is on him?

I switched to the APTN broadcast and it was a million times better, even though I don’t know more than a few (bad) words in Cree.

Mixed in a lot of English on that broadcast as well. They talked a lot about Copenhagen Long Cut lol.

It was a shot from the top of the circle. Shouldn't we be asking where the F was who was supposed to be there instead of shitting on the only player on the ice who wasn't directly involved in the play?

I think there are other dmen who can take his minutes and play better. Even on the Jets goal he had his first shot blocked before corralling the rebound.
Take him off the pk and I think the criticism will subside.

Unless you want to run JoMo into the ground killing penalties, the 3LHD needs to be out there

Hopefully when Fleury is ready to go, he gets a long look in that spot. Ultimately I think Chevy upgrades there at some point

For me, it's the fact that he started to go to the right side where the Jets already had ample coverage. Hence leaving the Flamer unmolested.
