GDT: Flam @ Shark, Late on a Monday Night

Yeah I had my TV on mute as I was playing guitar, but I was gonna ask if there is no Sportsnet feed because of the Millen death, which I assumed was the reason.

I wonder if this was supposed to be a Millen game or a Hrudey game as we've been getting more Millen, which was good as I like him much more than Hrudey.

I wonder when the Sharks try to improve? They trade for a #1 goalie who they don't play, they got there #1 (and #2) center(s). They got a top pairing guy (they hope) in Dickenson.

Surely they try and be competitive next year?

if they wanted to compete next year, they wouldn't have traded Dunn and wouldn't have been reportedly willing to move Ferraro

Next year is a strong draft. I think they’ll start taking things more seriously the year after that. It’s a little tiring seeing all these high draft picks get funneled into our division every year. And if it’s not that, then it’s guys like Eichel going to Vegas.

I consistently wonder what Anaheim, Chicago and Detroit are doing. They look 5 years away from being 5 years away.

Anaheim has stockpiled talent, drafted 2 top line centers with top 3 picks, got Senneke with a top 3 pick, have an abundance of good d-men, Dostal is a decent goalie, have some other good young pieces in Guethier, Zegras, etc., but they look dreadful out there.

Chicago can't draft for shit, they got gifted Bedard and have surrounded him with garbage which is hampering his development.

Seems like the bottom this year will be the same next year, like it's been the past couple years. These bottom feeding teams are pathetic. I think this is why our management is so scared to tear it down, proper full teardown re-builds take FOREVER to get going, especially if you can't draft outside of top 5 picks.

Are you on desktop or mobile? Desktop is fine if you install proper plug-ins (uBlock origin for chrome). Mobile is unusable, ads take up half the screen and when you try and do anything it just clicks the ad anyway. I get it, you want money to pay for servers, etc. but f*** me I can't even use your platform because the ads take up 70% of the screen.

Since the Oilers are still a SN feed, there is a chance that it was supposed to be Millen tonight. Even if not, I can see Hrudey taking this really hard, as he's been pretty open about struggling with mental health.

I use my mobile for most of my posting

It's completely put of control. Every ad is competing for your touches of the phone screen. Ridiculous
