He already cleared waivers before and I don’t think he’s done anything since that would make a team claim him. It doesn’t matter anyway as whoever was left up should probably be scratched but waivers status shouldn’t have been much of a threat.

We are real proud of how we responded out there on the ice today

Guys like Sid and Rust are really engaged and leading by example, and we feel our young guys are able to learn a lot right now

I always felt like Cs and As are just letters.. But real leadership happens from the locker room out, Nieto brings that experience about what it takes to be an NHLer directly to our prospects

I hope if they do they still look for deals like Tomasino. I am happy that they are actually keeping pickering up. It would be nice if Dubas can moved Nieto or Accari like Eller

This Florida team is basically The Terminator, they are relentless. Watched them the last couple games and they are just one hateful team to play against, like they normally are. Even their back up goalie has been doing well recently.

I am glad they are playing Pickering. He is the only + defensemen lol

This week should be a good test to see whether this streak is meaningful or not. The Panthers are very good. The Rangers are struggling but still a good team and also one that we historically have a hard time with at times under Sullivan. The Leafs are a good team.

If the Pens can go 2-1 this week or better and look generally competent in the games then I might start to dare to hope. They've dug such a hole that they can't really afford a lot of 1-2 or 0-3 weeks moving forward.

Which is why you have to actually commit to a tank and rebuild, not hope it passively shows up without having to do anything.

Most likely scenario is we do just good enough to get out of the top 5OA pick range and yet still miss playoffs by a few points.
