Absolutly agree with you. Same thing as with Namestnikov, neither got a big enough chance to take other guys places, while both likely were good enough to do so.

It's not like I'm completely familiar with FLA's system, but you'd have to think he'll be allowed to focus more on offense than he was with us. I feel like a Huberdeau-Marchessault combination could be pretty dynamic.

I've been impressed with FLA for years now (maybe I was impressed with Tallon, but anyway...). This is yet another shrewd move, IMO. Might wind up being the cheapest 20 goals in the league this year.

Sceviour is good on a scoring fourth line and can do everything decently but excells at nothing. Sceviour is a scorer not really a grinder.

Best part about Scevior is he scores with 4th liners and 4th line minutes. He really can't scale up the lineup, but he's very productive with limited opportunity in a role Eaves was totally useless in. Good on the kill as well, not really a threat shorthanded but makes good smart plays.

people are going to say the panthers got lucky with these two guys, but they were specifically targeted as guys the panthers wanted to sign asap on July 1st. they look smart right now. hopefully it continues
