Pissing their pants? What a dumb straw man. If you could just stick to things that have been said rather than just making things up that would be great.

“Real injury”.
Oh you’re right Tkachuk is faking his entire injury and did so at the 4 nations

I’m not whining about anything.

I’m pointing out that I think a salary cap loop hole scam is happening again. Just like Tampa and vegas in the past.

I haven’t said a word about Florida winning the cup last year. Has nothing to do with this trade and the upcoming stuff that I think Florida is gonna do.

If you don’t think Florida is gonna do what I’m saying..fine. Up to you.

Time will tell
Florida doesn’t have the draft capital to “go all out”. This is an injury that is legitimate lol, unlike Stone and his back soreness every year

You're welcome! I do wish Knight all the best - we will miss him and he's a gamer. So happy that he won his first game with you in such convincing fashion, and take care of him for us. And see if you can carry on our tradition of yelling "KNIGHT" during the anthem -that would be cool.
I'll try yelling Knight during the anthem, but honestly, our whole shtick with the anthem at Hawks games is yelling during the entirety of it. I've legimately shouted 'f***' during it before just for the hell of it and nobody around me could hear me say it. If you ever wanted to shout about in public about committing a murder, there's the place to do it.

So even if we do yell his name there, think it's gonna get drowned out by all the other noises we're making during the anthem.

one thing of note with SK is since Jan 1st over 10 games he has had a save % below .909 once .880, and is .9436 including last night.
Yeah, I looked at EP yesterday before he played, and they listed the stats for his previous ten games, and he had a .927 save percentage in that time. For a comparison, Connor Helleybuyck has a .927 save percentage for the season, which is leading the entire league.

Obviously he's not as good as CH is, not yet at least. And 10 games is a small sample size. And he was probably getting some easier assignments in Florida, while Bob was getting some of the tougher opponents.

Still though, he's been very good recently. And then very, very good last night.

Spencer is really good and will be very good.

I mean, what exactly is your issue...man? I can't tell if you're struggling with wording of posts or that Tkachuk has an actual injury, or if you just like to start shit.

Try it - maybe you'll start a new tradition! Particularly if he indeed becomes your goalie of the future and steals you games. In the last game with Tampa, I saw that the crowd still yelled his name during the anthem, which was a bit bitter-sweet... I know hockey is a business and I understand the reasons for the trade, but I can't help but get sentimental about players, and Knight was our baby.

Main thing is that at least he went to a team that wears the right colour jersey - none of these yellows, blacks, oranges or [shudder] blues...

I can't read for you. Its pretty simple English. Tkachuk will be held back on IR once recovered to take advantage LTIR and he will magically be recovered for game one of the playoffs.

Not a single Panther fan, including yourself is worried about him missing the start of the playoffs. Not one arguement about it. Just a couple Panther fans being pissy about it. I even said I don't blame them.

"I mean", what exactly is your issue.....man?

Some people on the Panthers board are wondering if Gadjovic is enough of a replacement if MT is out for a while during the playoffs. You don't know nearly as much as you think.

Maybe he should come back a week earlier, maybe he should come back a week later. We'll never know. He'll be there day 1 because he played in the playoffs with a broken sternum. All we know is that he'll start the playoffs, healthy or injured he'll play.

As a Hawks fan (and a guy who hated the Jones/Columbus trade from day 1) there's a lot of odd takes on Jones from fans here.

He's physically imposing in the D zone, knocks dudes off the puck effortlessly at times. When he activates at the right moments in the O zone in a straight ahead way he's good too. When focused he has some great games.

What he sucks at is being anything beyond that. Him being the #1 power play guy and the main offensive driver every shift on the Hawks was downright mind boggling. He'd lead in shot attempts so many times yet take months to get a goal. Running your offense through a guy that isn't an elite playmaker or elite shooter is kinda stupid. But it happened every single game as if he was THE extra forward getting star treatment.

Hence, it's literally addition by subtraction as he was never going to play a more straight forward role on the Blackhawks which is what he belongs doing, maintaining a simple physical game and giving you an option in the offensive zone without being "the guy" every damn shift. He was never going to carry a sub par team anywhere, but certainly has the tools to contribute on a much better roster.

I mean, speaking of reading issues and simple English, literally say here that we need him out, AND that I don't want to be circumventing. But, then I said F it, here for it. We already proved we can without having to.

That said, we have a strong overall team, I'm not super worried if Chucky misses a few....if he comes back at all. As I also said.Or just cry more.
Meh, we won our first Cup while being compliant, and we all think Tkachuk would play if he could. The 4 nations meant a lot of him and he did his best to play, he played with a broken sternum in the Finals, he would’ve played more in the tourney if he could have. He’s injured. I’m skeptical we’ll see him at all in the playoffs, but if he’s there game 1, well weren’t the first to do it I guess. We need Chucky out there, but I’d prefer not to look like we’re circumventing.

Actually blew up after Tampa, Vegas followed suit and added to the insanity.

I guess we can revisit this thread in five years when Knight wins the vezina.
Yes, and we'll be cheering him on because he's a gamer and works hard. We'll probably be awful by then, and we're in different conference anyway, so the chances of his success impacting us negatively in the future is very very low.

What is going on here? Why are you trying to get us to shit on Knight? You got somethin you needed and we got something we needed. I'm confused.

Pretty much this.

Anytime you can get a very good top 4 D for a late 1st and a goalie prospect, it’s a win. Who knows what the 1st will be and goalies are very unpredictable. Plus, Knight has had some injury and mental health issues I believe…
Knight will a very good goalie in the NHL, he has been getting better every game, I went from I don't think so, to "Wow, this guy can play" the logic of the trade is this one, by the time Knight becomes and established #1 goalie, Panthers window of contention will be gone, which is about 2-3 years, so, this is about NOW.

This trade reminds me because of the reaction on this board, when Bennett got trade it, they thought very poorly of Bennett, you know the rest of the story. Jones has all the tools to be very successful in Florida, he will playing with very good partners, he does not have to carry the team, just concentrate on his role, which is heavy game, clear the puck and fast breakouts, and our forwards are really good are covering Defense when they go up on offense.
