Since Marchand is a left winger (and Reino right), maybe coach will try him with Barky and Reino. BM has a nose for the net and Barky feeds those guys pucks constantly.

Maurice definitely has now plenty of options to try with the fwds and I think that we'll see him regularly trying different lines combos.

I wouldn't be surprised if BM only plays like ~11 games in the playoffs so that Zito doesn't have to relinquish their 2018 1st round pick to the Broons. That "50% of games played in the playoffs"-condition is a bit different from the usual "wins first/second round of the playoffs" or "wins the Cup"-conditions.

lmao we technically can't trade a 2028 pick yet, it's too far off, but because it's a "2027 conditional" it's okay.

It’s 3 years/drafts for the NHL. Billy Z technically exploited another “loophole” by making the pick a conditional 2nd in 2027 in order to really trade a 2028 1st (assuming the conditions are met).

A couple weeks has him back in lineup before end of March. Gives him 10 games or so to get the system down.
Let Samo play out the rest of the year and I'm sure Maurice will tinker with the 4th line the rest of the regular season to have multiple line combos come playoff time.

I don't personally but we'll see how he fits in.
Term on his next deal was a big issue in Sweeney trading him.
3 years max if he stays in Florida but wonder if Zito gets creative and ships out Erod in July and keeps Marchand.

He'll likely want 5 mil per on 2-3 deal but Zito can't go above 4 mil per IMO, especially if we keep both Bennett and Ekblad.
