Marchand is nice, but not nearly the player he was 2 years ago or even last year. He's still got it offensively, but defensively he's fallen off a few levels. I remember Dom Luszczyszyn implying this is the first year in his career that the Bruins were better with him off the ice than on it.

+ outside of Marchand all Florida players are in their prime vs Dallas has Benn/Seguin/Duchene past their prime

What, did you go compare there stats and call it a day? You’re comparing a player of generally top-6 time and talent with and a player of generally bottom-6 time and talent played with. We’ve seen both players in Florida. Both are good. Eetu has a more complete game.
