OT: Fitness and Nutrition XII

Preparing for half marathon in Fredericton for 11 May. 3rd week In. Program is a bit exhausting atm, but I’m doing full body strength training on easy days and mobility work on rest days.

I do easy Monday with strength training, rest and mobility Tuesday, speed work wednesday, rest and mobility Thursday. Friday is tempo run, Saturday is easy with strength trsining, Sunday is long run.

The way my schedule works is that it is very difficult for me to get an hour or more on Tuesday and Thursday so they have to be my rest days, which means running Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. I wish I could take a rest day Monday and do my easy run Tuesday, but my schedule just doesn’t work that way 95% of Tuesdays.

Here it is Tuesday and boy did I need a rest day today. Feels good to chill.
