I do recall seeing some panic posts and a lot of arguments about the schedule not making any difference. Still can't recall any saying that we were a .500 team. (that is out of the PO)

That was a silly debate. I thought everyone knew that the schedule, travel, b2bs made a difference. Its obvious on the face of it, but if anyone needs proof there is tons of data to back it up.

Now, if you added 15-1 to 3-7 you might have been pretty close to an accurate representation of the Jets quality. 18-8 is still way better than .500. That is a 113 pt pace. ATM we are on a 117 pt pace, BTW.
Looks like the strawmen are multiplying!

I think it's was "borderline .500" lol

At the end of the day, the Jets are what they are. They'll have stretches where they overachieve, stretches where they under achieve, and stretches where they achieve about how they ought to. Just like every other team in the league

I see the Jets don’t have anymore back-to-backs with 18 games left in the season. Makes me wonder how many starts Comrie will get the rest of the way. I’d like to see him get at least 4 more starts.

I hope it's more like 6-8 starts for Comrie

Play Helle just enough to keep him sharp

Taking 1st in the Central/West would be nice insofar that we'd avoid Dallas and Colorado, but i don't think it's worth it at the cost of an exhausted (or even moderately tired) Helle
