GDT: (First round of playoffs)

They are probably streaming on Hulu or Disney plus no? They are all owned by the same people

TNT games are on HBO max if you have it
I do have Max. So I'm good for those. The ESPN games aren't on any of ESPN+, Hulu, or Disney. Lol. More stupidity from the league by not having the games readily available to people who cut the cord. Not much different than the Hawks and Reinsdorf situation. Can't grown the game when people are limited to how they can watch. It looks like I have to watch illegal streams for any of the ESPN games.

You would think so. But that would be a smart move by the NHL, and we know they're not the brightest group running this league.

It hasn't been an issue yet, because Saturday I was at the rink/bar after my game to watch those games, and then Sunday I was at my Mom's, who has YouTube TV. It's only an issue at my house lol.

I mean, the games are on YouTube TV. Since ESPN is carried on there. There are streaming options. Hulu with LiveTV, FuboTV, YouTube TV, Sling TV, etc.

Only other solution is to get your moms youtube TV info what kind of family doesnt share that lmao

I can get it if I want it. My Mom uses my sister's, who also shares it with her in-laws. So I have to worry about 3 other households eating up the availability of it when I wanna watch. Especially when two of those households watch a lot of baseball.

I may just sign up for HULU or YouTube TV again for the playoffs, then cancel after.

This is the entire reason I still carry Xfinity cable television. There's just no cost savings if I'm watching everything that I want to watch "cutting the cord".

FU.

It's absolutely a problem for the NHL, when you have a metric assload of people who have cut the cord on any kind of TV services, like I have, and they have no way to really access half+ of the games.
Nah, it's a you problem. You're missing playoff games with every single sport if you don't have a live TV service.

Well yeah, it's a me problem, obviously. What I mean is... you would think leagues would want to keep that market of people who cut out TV services. They're losing millions of households.

People who want to watch sports, especially playoffs, carry a live TV sub of some kind. More people have some kind of live TV sub than ESPN+ or MAX. They are catering to the overwhelming majority of their fanbase putting these games on ESPN, ESPN2, and TNT. You're just an outlier here. ;)

With your current subs, you wouldn't even be able to watch the Super Bowl. Lol

That said, it is kind of silly that they don't have all the games on ESPN+, but that's been the case forever with most sports. If they are on ESPN, they aren't on ESPN+ without a provider. I'd imagine that's the agreement with ESPN, the sports leagues, and the live TV providers.
