New York Islanders: First Press Conference with GM Mathieu Darche @ 11:00 AM

What I didn’t hear yet is Chris Lamoriello’s status yet. Kowalsky and BPT coaching staff is out.

the Bridgeport team. why not? fans are literally begging for a prospect camp. I think they'd get more fans to games, and it would be cheaper and closer for most than UBS.

With attendance issues at UBS I think introducing a cheaper alternative for people to get their hockey fix could create competition with itself and that might not be a good thing. The other side is that it could help create a greater interest/connection with the community if both teams are doing well or players go from the AHL to the NHL.

How many teams have their AHL team right next door to where they play like that? I'm not an AHL expert but I can't think of many. The Flyers are close, but not that close.

I think someone said if the Isles AHL team was there it would be closest in sports proximity, the Braves in MLB right now have their AAA the closest of any MLB/NHL team's minor league team.

Collins comes off 50,000,000x more competent/confident than Ledecky. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him around as much anymore.
Good. He’s an operations guy with NHL experience. Ledecky was some of the money but none of the expertise.
