Sucks. But it appears without Luc gone, it doesn't matter anyway.

Though frankly, if Luc is the driving force, Blake should have some self-respect and resign.
The only way he can save face at all is by finding a way to get rid of PLD.

WTF is that a GM decision for… surely the HC should decide and change system as he sees fit.
A sign of some serious dysfunction.. they dont have clear roles defined for the president, GM and coach.. Its like a military hierarchy where the level below takes orders from above.. Luc pushed dubois, Blake pushes 1-3-1.. Never seen an org run this way

With the time zone difference and the games not starting till 10:30 in the eastern time zone, I may have to bail, especially given the attitudes of Luc, Blake and even Kopi. There is no vision here, and no one being held accountable. It's a shame after following the team closely for 20 years, but Florida and Carolina are just much better run organizations. This may be a goodby post for me, not that anyone cares. At least I got to watch two Cup runs. And, I can go to Swamp Rabbit games (went to their finale last week).

That’s why regardless of how deep Luc’s involvement is Blake has the choice to walk away. So he rightly gets blamed one way or the other.

You guys did tbf… did you at the draft?
I can't speak for Herby and bland, but I didn't see anything at all before the draft. I've gradually tried to build my exposure and access, as I followed CHL players more in previous years.

Faber frankly wasn't on my radar until Hoven told me to set up an article about him the night before the draft.

But after watching several games of him against collegiate players as a freshman, the tools he did show at such a young age were the kind that translated well. So for me, it was his D+1 year.

I bet that question doesn’t get asked… “Isn’t that the HC job?”

Sure the GM can say he wants a fast, skilled team or a big heavy team etc. but dictating the specific system is nuts. If you recruit a coach you give him his head and trust him. Otherwise it’s the wrong guy.

Am I missing something?

So AEG is balls deep in so much money that they don’t give a f*** what this absolutely dimwit moron with 40 IQ does
Kings are one of the most valuable franchises in the league. At this point, we need to look for a new owner to build a winner.

He doesn’t even f***ing try to incorporate himself into the f***ing game and it’s a coaching problem?

No surprise that fingers are pointed at coaching. If you’re going to pay a guy top dollar to carry your water, then you’re going to get your money’s worth.

He doesn’t even f***ing try to incorporate himself into the f***ing game and it’s a coaching problem? Wow

Its comedy of errors: first mistake you get a guy that doesnt fit the system.. a purely offensive center that actually has a rep as a good forechecker. But what you really need is a good 2 way center like ROR. So then your Koala tries to shoehorn him into the lineup and cant figure out where to put him, because he's being sold as a center and he doesnt get to use his forechecking. So its like a bad date but both parties are locked in a cage and cant leave. So now we know we're dealing with an insane situation - and Blake is actually right in that the coaches need to use him differently... just such a mess from top to bottom. 🤡

Imagine having ZERO success for this long and being In cap hell with ZERO repercussions. Absolutely unbelievable. That moron Luc and his lover Blake are getting paid millions to completely bomb a billion dollar franchise while we have people in McDonalds getting fired for flipping burgers incorrectly once. Complete disrespect to the fans and a complete mockery of a once premier franchise. Now it’s just butt buddies chumming it up on a golf course.

The Roenick era country club is back, baby

any other brisson connections looking to get paid for f***all

how about Jonathan Drouin, we could use a diet Kevin Fiala with no balls but a french name

It shows that the org is not aligned on a philosophy...and was it Todd who said it came from above? That is a sign of major disconnect to admit that and a hole in leadership. The players dont like it (the creative ones)... seems the coach didnt either if he admitted it came from above.
