Lol, I’ve said all along that they aren’t deep enough. I was on the trade Rantanen train. I want to throw all picks and prospects at players that will fit. I don’t care what happens in 3-4 years as long as it pushes this team hard through its window. I’m just as unsatisfied as you. But I don’t think overdramatizing everything will help this team on the ice.
Refs, coaches, players, all suck all the time. Why even watch at that point.

This roster has holes but it’s impossible to ignore the ways in which it’s underachieving. Shittier teams are accomplishing much more than this

They got Blackwood and suddenly couldn't blame the goaltending anymore when they lost. Now they have nobody to blame but themselves.
Easy, they've all played above their position for most of the season and both the top six, and bottom six is burnt the f*** out.
Colton, 3rd liner.. played in the top six. Mitts sucks, needs 3rd and 4C to take his minutes. Literally everyone has had to play up all year AGAIN.
It has to f***in stop. From day one we're missing someone that forces the entire roster to have to play above their heads

Ross Colton is a sad sack when it comes to getting a above average 3C or even a high end 3W. The dude isn't that tough, isn't that fast, his shot isn't anything special, his face-off ability is hilarious.
All in all he's a f***in giant bag of almost but not quite lol. It's seriously pathetic to watch. I've hated him since day one. He isn't tough, no one takes him seriously as an agitator, and he's a dumb ass.
I hated it from his first f***in game on this team. My real assessment of him is that he's a p***y. He does literally nothing tough. He's a bitch, he doesn't get into scrums much, he's not defending anyone, not scoring..
He's one of those guys that's just about as tough as a wet paper bag at the end of the night. I can't stand the type. Act hard all day, disappear when it's actually hard.

The Avs are in a playoff spot. Considering everything that this team has dealt with since the start of the season, injuries horrible goaltending with Georgiev, and still dealing with key injuries, what else do people expect from this team? I actually think its impressive that the Avs are even in a playoff spot right now

If this is a shit second period, I’m packing it in and not watching the third.

This team and the players they have are A LOT better than they are showing. Right now, I have no choice to believe that it's 100% a coaching issue.
I mean depth comes into play in the playoffs but right now, we have no excuse to be playing like this.
After 8-9 years, Bednar's time is up.

I expect them to play up to their potential. In this stretch of “playoff games” they look ready to let go of their wildcard spot
