That series was fantastic. Just watch some more highlights from it and man Landy and Rants were very noticeable. Hard to win without guys like that in the playoffs

I think miner is in the lineup, but I don’t think it matters. Bednar has shown he will ride the starter in b2b games this season anyhow.

Why is everyone always so scared of the oilers? We swept those bumbaclarts with a backup goalie and they still had Leon and Connor then. Those nozzles lose games just like every other team. We are a "meh bubble team" and yet they only have 3 more wins than us. f*** those ass hats.

Love EJ but they should've been more brutal about that. The franchise was more than gracious to him, and he had earned THAT for sure, but bottom line they should not have been towing around a third-pairing defenseman making $6 million when they had holes in the lineup. He got his name on the Cup, I don't think the Avs owed him anything above and beyond past that.
Now, I'm not recommending they had done what the Rangers did with Goodrow and Trouba, but maybe see if he was amenable (though push the issue a little harder than they did), and if not, just buy him out. Yes, that would carry a cap hit but it would've likely allowed them enough room to pursue Kadri or another center.
