Also, I don't think Trouba necessarily needs to be carried. It's just that he's a run-and-gun, reckless defenseman and we have him with an athletic rookie who always needed seasoning.

Meanwhile, the two most sound and calm players in our lineup are also together. A swap just seems perfect.

Maybe I just didn’t see him enough in WPG (outside the PPP he racked up when Buff went down), but what about his game screams offensive Dman? His skating is lackluster and can’t get his shot through. Seems to be more like a higher risk defensive Dmen w/ a huge bite. More or less a Smith on steroids.

And yeah, saying he doesn't put up enough production for his bullshit is a good argument.
