The way Keefe has gotten his forwards to commit to defence has been fantastic.
I think you misunderstood what my point was. Playoff wise they have the same results, neither one has gotten past the first round with teams projected to go further. I've seen Sens teams in the past and players improve and get better during the regular season, but come playoffs it didn't really translate to much....

Everyone looks like shit vs New Jersey.

I had this one circled that DJ should be canned if they stink. And they really, really stank.

When you’re seeing this in a must-win game against a bottom-feeder, it should be over. That does’t look like a team buying in.

Not sure how well regarded these are but I consistently see Branny near the top whenever someone posts them.

They can’t fire him on the road trip because they’d have to pay separate airfare to bring him home.

He’s here till he’s not.

We won’t be adding a new Coach, Cap will just take over the reins.

New owners can’t come quick enough, franchise needs a reset button so incredibly bad.
What about making Bowness interim GM?

Our board isn’t going to be shuffling the deck prior to a sale.
Does the new ownership have to wait until all the paperwork is done to make any changes or can they start when it's "done, just paper work left"?

Going into the season I was optimistic

Our D looked like it should be better if Sanderson came as advertised, no more Mete, MDZ or J.Brown

Our schedule seemed much more favourable compared to last year, no longer do we have the most back to backs against rested teams

Our forward group seemed much improved with Giroux, DeBrincat and a health Pinto, say goodbye to Sandford and Gaudette getting time in the top 6 or on the PP.

So how is it that Sanderson comes in playing exactly as we hoped, Pinto looked like an early Calder candidate and Giroux is a point per game but we're a hot mess at the bottom of the standings?

Yes, the roster is flawed, we could really use another RHD for the top 4, and yes the injuries hurt, but this is still a better roster than last year, but here we are getting the same results.

DJ did a great job of keeping the attitude positive through years of disappointment but we need progress not positive outlooks.

The coach of the worst D in the league as head coach? lol

Fun times ahead...

At this point just go beer league hockey 40 seconds shift alternatively for every line and D pair

I bet wouldn't be all that worse then what we see right now lol

Do we have the lowest-scoring blue line in the league right now? Watching the highlights (Sens-Sharks and others), really underscores how rarely our defensemen float one through traffic to get a seeing-eye goal or a lucky deflection. And with the empty net last night, Brannstrom shoots wide of the net, leading to SJ corralling the puck and sending it the length of the ice for goal #5.

It has to be a thing at this point. Not one of them puts it on net, it's always off to the side for tip/deflection. Redden didn't have a big shot, but he got it through for rebounds. They almost never try. Always pass off or shot to the side.

Stick with DJ, season is a wash at this point, let him continue to drive this team to the bottom. Don't need a new coach coming in and elevating the team to finish in 10th place.
