One of the most talented rosters in franchise history (talking 1967 history) yet who exactly sees this ending well?

I never wanted him in the first place. This is classic DeBoer. Zero leadership or motivation. Baffling lines and decisions. That game tonight has to be the nadir of modern Dallas Stars. A game that will be talked about for years, with us the butt of the joke again. Get him out.

We've also made it to the 3rd round two years in a row.

This year, unfortunately I don't think we make in past round one though. Not sure if Nill would fire him.

I would say Nill doesn't have the balls to do such a thing, but after the Rantanen trade, he might. But I'll say I doubt it

I'm not on this train. For half the year they were one of the stingiest teams in hockey and Pete's system was a big part of that. He gets a lot out of his forwards and plays young kids in meaningful ways. His special teams are some of the best in the league.

This is on the players and the GM for not getting more Defensive help.

I was watching in a craft beer bar and left after Granny's goal, so I was surprised to see this early this morning. If it is any consolation, I looked up the Stars in 1998-9, and they finished their eight games in April with 4W and 4L, which I recall was a cause for concern.

I also recall some great seasons with 0-5 preseasons. All that matters is they flip the switch when the playoffs come, i.e., at the right time.
