Just a heads up: the WJC squad has its own thread where the selection camp roster is being discussed.
Sweden's and Finland's U16 national teams are playing three games this weekend and I must say I was very impressed with Aatu Räty in game 1.played good game in game 1. liked his mobility seems to be good both offensivily and defensivily. didnt feature in game 2. should play on sunday again on game3
Niemelä Topi, Aatu Räty & Österman Olli some names that impressed in game2
After 3 games 2 per player top5 finns for me were
1. Aatu Räty
2. Oliver Suni
3. Kasper Puutio
4. Christoffer Sedoff
5. Topi Niemelä
Nice to hear, he has totally destroyed the Finnish U16 league.Sweden's and Finland's U16 national teams are playing three games this weekend and I must say I was very impressed with Aatu Räty in game 1.
End of 3 day Tournament 2 nations FIN -Rep. Cech .
15 y.o. Kasper Simontaival best scorer with 1+3=4 .
Does anyone has some reports about him ? or tournament players in general ?
Not really a top prospect, but Eetu Sopanen who played in the 2016 WJC gold medal team has to retire. He got injured 10.11.2016 and hasn't played after that. He can't really live a normal life at the moment as even studying isn't possible. Awful news, so young. I hope he can live a normal life.

Maybe now, but can look different on future.Three Finns in top 5 2016. Now it's looking like two of those are huge disappointments. Quite shameful.
Yeah but they're both already waaay behind players who were picked after them. Neither of them should've been picked where they were. Easy to say now, ofc.Maybe now, but can look different on future.
Yup, because (less than) two years after the draft is the time to come to that conclusion.. not.Yeah but they're both already waaay behind players who were picked after them. Neither of them should've been picked where they were. Easy to say now, ofc.
