They actually weren't the score was misleading. USA was leading in scoring chances 13-6 when the score was still tied. It was more so bad luck that the game was tied for so long. Eventually those pucks were going to go in.

I haven't looked at stats but I felt the Finns had the upper edge on high danger scoring chances or at least odd-man rushes in the second period, but they actively refused to shoot.

Just saying it didn't feel lopsided.

Hilarious considering except for a 5min span, this game was completely even.

The score was even that's about it. USA had more puck possession time and was leading in scoring chances 13-6 when the game was tied 1-1. I would hardly call that even.

Losing Heiskanen really hurt Finland. I know there are some other guys missing the tournament, but there’s a really big gap between Heiskanen and their next best defenseman.

Finland was lucky to be tied after one but they were legitimately the better team for the first 15 minutes of the second period.

Saros is also taking a lot of crap after a mostly good game. The game was blown open by his own guy deflecting a puck past him.
