Sweden was so disappointing... I mean I know most Swedes have not had a great season but wow.. I expected more. They did play quite well, but relying too much on offence from defence because offense has been bad this year just wasn't enough.

I didn't think the Swedes really had that great of chances for a 3v3 personally.

Best chance was in the opening seconds. They had a lot of the possession afterwards, but nothing to show for it. That's also a danger of 3 on 3 overtime, if you have a lot of possession you may just give up an odd man rush the other way at the drop of a hat.

That's not true, Finland losing and Canada winning in regulation tonight would have been the best case scenario since that would have clinched them a spot in the final.

100% agree, in Finland most teams have slowly but steadily been going towards the NHL size rinks too, the airport size rinks are long gone thank god.

Only way Sweden can get in now is by beating the US and Canada losing both remaining games. Pretty sure both Canada and Finland will have the tie-breaker now against them. Finland controls their own destiny by beating Canada on Monday if Canada loses tonight. If the US manages to lose both remaining games, they're out. It's kind of an exciting scenario for such a simplistic format.

Edit: If Canada loses tonight, and Finland wins in regulation Monday, Sweden is still out even if they beat the US I think. Either way, still fun to watch. No team is a lock to be in or out yet.
