I hate to say it but it might be never (this year), and I like the Finnish WJC teams generally speaking.
This one just isn't put together/coached well enough IMO to be an effective contender this tournament.

Yeah I quite often disagree with his takes and the way he makes them. But even then it often makes for good entertainment

Yeah but in fairness most years of the last 10 or so they could hold their own and maybe even get out.

This one... yeah, it's game one, and it's against Canada, but it just feels like it's lacking the top-end talent to push through AND that these boys don't have that relentless teamwork ethic the Finns have displayed in the past.

Finns can tell me to shut up though, I'm just not feeling optimistic for them.
