You just cant ignore record like he has in clutching. Without him no olympic gold, no 2019. Its not even "karjala capping" for real when someone does that, you respect it no matter what If he does atleast something good to deserve some spot on the team, and he is pk specialist so he does. Wouldnt be surprised at all if he clutches in some of the elimination games

There were no NHL players at the Olympics, so his weaknesses were more easily forgiven. Now, I can name quite a few better performing players over him. He iS just horrible to watch out there..

While I have never been less bothered about a three nil loss, it’s also a bit worrying in the sense that if the performance is the same against the Germans, we will not win the quarterfinals. Let’s hope that psychologically they were already resting for the game that matters. They definitely cannot afford to repeat today’s performance. Then again, we should also not forget that we played against a really good team which is breaking records in terms of goals conceded at this tournament for a reason.

Blue machine indeed. I like how jalonen never just hires collection of stars, but its all about good defense. I watch blue machine winning with pokka and anttila every day over losing with unorganized ultimate team.
