They are reviewing the Tanus situation, so we might need to play without him.

Who and when and where has announced
Tanus is probably getting suspension of that hit in USA games 1st period.

Neither of jatkoaika.com, iltasanomat.fi and iltalehti.fi
didn't mention nothing of any possibly suspensions.

So where this information is coming?

Bob McKenzie from twitter.

Bob '' The Bull****'' McKenzie strikes again.
What a ''great'' hockey insider indeed.

I have zero trust to all what McKenzie tweets.
Only where he's OK is his NHL draft rankings but that's all.
Hey everyone makes mistakes are wrong about something sometimes. He is one of the most reliable sources on twitter.

The Tanus incident was a 50/50, and in some other circumstances it may have been reviewed. But since the squad's down to 11 forwards as it is, I think they weren't eager to open the can of worms that surely would have poured over if Finland lost the next game, so they erred on the side of the more lenient 50.

McKenzie is arguably the most knowledgeable hockey insider there is.

On Twitter he specifically stated the IIHF was looking at two incidents from that game, but they didn’t specify which ones. He said for sure he thought one was the Wahlstrom play then he speculated the other one might be the Tanus play or Beecher play.

Team Finland tonight.
- No goaltending
- No defence
- No offence
- No skill
- No passion
- No heart
- No coaching
- No captains leadership
- No pride
- No any interest to even try compete gold medal game spot.
- No any respect to the logo of their game jersey

If these guys really are Finland's best U20 WJC players then compete level of SM liiga is weak as hell.
There never should this-kind ice-hockey mass-murder massacre when Finland is playing.
Absolutely pathetic and brutal as hell.

Canada's team is full CHL players and our players should be playing against men's.
But now it looks like Canada's players are playing against't men's.
And Finland's players against beer-leaguers.

Raipe please do a favor and ****-off right now you're horrible head coach.

Why on earth Raipe didn't do anything to the lines, just kept playing Maccelli on two lines with useless grinders, when clearly it wasn't working? I can't remember the last time when I saw a game when coach didn't mix up the lines when they are down 5-0.

And I don't understand why Maccelli played so much. He was totally burned out.

Thomson has been a major disappointment for me in this tournament. That´s why i don´t believe we will win the bronze game. When your captain is one of the most underwhelming players out there it´s going to be difficult to win anything.

Still, the semifinals was a decent effort from this thin roster. Lack of talent and stupid choices and overall weird selections from Raipe made it almost impossible to win a semifinal. Maccelli and Oden could be burned out for todays game.
Annunen better step up today. He has to work on high shots, otherwise a great talent.

Next year i hope we have a coach who has the guts to pick the most talented players and manages them to play together.
Blomqvist should be a decent goalie by then and the roster should be somewhat deeper. I will except good things from Puistola, Rätys, Aaltonen, Nikkanen, Kokkonen, Niemelä, Hirvonen, Tieksola, Mäntykivi, Lambert, Simontaival, Järventie and others.

Helminen continues with the same lineup as yesterday, I don't think Maccelli can even play anymore.

So my final thoughts.

The team overachieved. This group didn't have a system the team can rely on if things go bad. Even though the team overachieved, many players didn't play on their level. Many mistakes, not enough playing for the team. Coaching made some mistakes, but I can't blame all on them. Just a mess of a tournament and I am happy it is over.

Positive players for me:
Aku Räty
Sampo Ranta
Aatu Räty
Kristian Tanus
Patrik Puistola
Joonas Oden
Justus Annunen (the USA game, not the rest)

Negatives:
Lenni Killinen
Antti Saarela
Lassi Thomson (wtf he was doing during the tournament)

Rest are quite neutral for me.

On to the next year.

I would add Ville Petman. Great workethic and determination, good on the PK. Not as bad with the puck as i thought.
