I thought that was a great win for the jets.
laine seemed to be more engaged, even if he did not score.
will be great to get buf and ehlers back.

Funny, that; I was watching an episode of the old Twilight Zone show today.
A guy makes a deal with the devil in order to be immortal and indestructible in return for his soul.
He does things like jump in front of moving trains and drinking poison, but eventually gets bored with that, and keeps doing more and more reckless things until he eventually resorts to blatant murder, thinking how hilarious it will be when they try and fry him in the electric chair.
This being the Twilight Zone, he gets sentenced to life in prison instead
BUT my point: I wonder if Brandon Tanev has done something very similar.

I'm happy with that effort. Some mistakes but the effort was there and we controlled the scoring chances as shown in the heat map below. We were full marks for the win tonight.
Helle was fairly ordinary tonight but did what he had to get the win.
I thought Morrow and Kuli had one of their better efforts of the year, no real complaints.
Trouba and Morrissey had a bit of a rough first but locked it down after.
Chariot has been awful since coming back and him and Myers just don't work together.
The top line was really going, Conner is on fire. All three brought it tonight both offensively and defensively.
Despite the shot metrics I thought Laine and Roslovic had better nights. Laine in particular was really throwing his weight around and moving his feet. He was a big reason for the game winning goal with his rush and hustle on the forecheck. He keeps it up he will get going. Little continues to play a solid game.
Fourth line got another goal and played a decent game. There metrics still aren't great but they were fine.
I thought our third line was bad tonight. Lowry couldn't get much if anything going. Perrault was hit and miss and I thought Tanev had one of those games were he is killing plays.

Y'all know what's crazy? How many times in the first 5 years did we battle so hard all game only to lose late in third periods ?
Now that we are so deep we are the ones winning games with under 10 to go so many times.
Just fun to be on the winning end nmore often than not these days.
