The few times Drouin looked good was after Gally talked to him on the bench. Drouin nodded and had a good shift after that.

Results ?
He has virtually no offense tho?He can't stay healthy but his point-per-game played is decent.
I know he's frustrating to watch... But for a fanbase that asks for creative plays and more offense, it's quite weird to crap on one of the only ones that actually try to be creative...
Habs fans: "we need s rebuild!"Yes, exactly. 1st round pick in 2023. We're on the same page then.
Can you back up that with facts tho?He has virtually no offense tho?

Made a lot of good passes that his teammates didn't expect or couldn't handle also.He was holding back the offense tonight…
He killed many plays.
You have to be joking. MSL isn't going to fix him we're way past that. You need to stop watching TVA sport.Made a lot of good passes that his teammates didn't expect or couldn't handle also.
I feel like MSL needs to find him the right spot and let him do his thing.

My god, your little comments on Slafkovsky are starting to get pathetic.Missed the game.
How did Kotkakovsky look?

He looked like he should be on the starting lineup on the third line.Sorry to offend you with my joke.
I am being serious though, how did Slaf look tonight?

Yes, Anderson was great, we're so lucky to have him. Even Pitlick had some nice moments. Good things for a pre-season game building some chemistry.Good to hear.
Is he still playing with Anderson as he did last game? I have to admit I like that a lot for him to learn on the job from a real power forward.
I understand the need to vent but crapping on players like Drouin and Hoffman for their preseason performance is just annoying and sounds whiny. Wait for some real games and then feel free to continue the witch hunt if their play warrants it. But try and start the season with an open mind for your sake and the rest of us who are looking to engage in intelligent analysis rather than navigate through a hyperbolic minefield. Drouin has a number of variables that still leave some hope......maybe not as much for Hoffman as he is what he has always been but is trending in the wrong direction. Adding to the noise that a percentage of which invariably gets back to the player does not strike me as beneficial to the player, team or the fans. So please, at least leave a little time and space for change to take place before erecting your stakes and burning your chosen heretic.
I get as frustrated as anyone else but it is important to try and remain as objective as possible for as long as possible. It leads to improved discourse and isn't that what we all want. I don't mind the in-game rants but the post game comments should require a modicum of restraint.
Yes. The best synergy he had with anyone was Anderson.Good to hear.

I agrre 100% with your take….but in Drouin’s case, he’s been lacklustre for the better part of the entirety of his contract.I understand the need to vent but crapping on players like Drouin and Hoffman for their preseason performance is just annoying and sounds whiny. He can also serve as an example of what “not to do” for our young playersPrecisely, he can help with landing us Bedard.
The yearly "Drouin's ready to take the season by force" pieces this past August already have a stench on them.I agrre 100% with your take….but in Drouin’s case, he’s been lacklustre for the better part of the entirety of his contract.
If there’s any vet that should had been going all hands on deck in this preseason…..it’s Drouin.
And like always, he demonstrated his lack of heart or urgency in all capacities.
As a vet with something to prove, he should’ve been leading the charge but instead has dragged it down.
