How's Friedman looked?
i did like the aggressive forecheck for the 5 minuets we used it.The good news is we look competitive for a team missing 26m worth of forward and 5 dmen, minus a few patchy moments
The bad news is we're not good enough to have a few patchy moments, and looking competitive against CBJ probably doesn't mean much vs us getting points in Florida.
I really think they have only one task tonight: not to get hurt, Kappy is not even pretending neither is Rust
So first off, the Penguins look like ass this game.
The Las Palmas taco truck(s) are excellent and has had an appropriate number of health code violations. Exactly what you want in a restaurant like that.
We just got a Condado at the mall but I'm not going to get blitzed on Margaritas in a mall when I have to drive home sooooo
Totopo is just Mad Mex ++. But at times that is exactly what you're looking for. I think as far as Tex Mex goes it's as good as it gets around here.
Alquisiras Paleteria has delicious desserts including some sort of Horchata type creations that are outstanding. I haven't been in wayyyyyy too long.
How bout in your area?
He was hurt on that last play by the wall, got hit with the puck I thinkDumo hurt?
So I've been to Las Palmas and think it's damn near the best on taste. But not so good on the cleanliness as I've had hairs in my food...
Condado is fancy Taco Bell, but I love it. There's one downtown and in Lawrenceville.
Totopo has a sister restaurant in Shadyside about a block or two from where my girlfriend lived. It's called Tocayo and it's great. Probably the best queso fundido I've ever had.
Baby Loves Tacos is a terrible name but I like them. They're somewhere between Condado and Las Palmas on the "authentic" meter. Same with Doce in the South Side but I don't frequent them too often.
There's a truck in the Strip that may be better than Las Palmas, but it's hard to gauge without have a side by side comparison. But that's Edgar's Best Tacos.
I've only been once to this place near Children's Hospital called Los Cabos and my burrito was large, tasty, and cheap. It's BYOB and I was there when some frat was there with a few cases of Natty Lite. They offered me one and of course I took it. I need to go back for the food though.
There's two places on my list I've not been to yet but really need to check out. One is in Garfield/Bloomfield on Penn called Taquitos. And the other is in Bloomfield/Lawrenceville on Main called El Sabor.
Once @Gurglesons reads this he'll let us know that PGH has no good tacos or Mexican food in general.
There was pineapple on it?!?Yeah, sorry guys. It'd be like if I was telling you I had "the best" pizza in Socal.
There is pizza here. But uh.

edit: I see he's already commented

I'll have to try some of these on the days I go into the office. El Sabor in particular looks good and convenient.
Gurgie hates Pittsburgh and its people, but he likes the hockey team. I wouldn't expect him to like the Mexican food. But where he's from they put fries on burritos soooooooo
