Not that it would ever happen, but is Sam O'Reilly even eligible to play in this series? He seems like the kind of guy who fills a role that this roster is surely missing, being a quick, right handed center.

At this point it’s crystal clear that it doesn’t matter which goalie starts if thru keep playing this way. If they go down swinging I can accept but another effort like that and they should be raked over the coals.

Heart says do. Head says die. Gonna watch with my fingers crossed hoping for the best which is pretty much what I’ve been doing since the game 2 overtime loss.

Drag 'em back to Alberta.

Florida was unbeaten as a front runner until they hit the Oil. This team has come back throughout the series to win games. Last night they hit the wall going down 3 on their own terrible mistakes and didn't have the jump to get back in it. Florida got punched in the mouth game 4 and weren't going to backslide again.

The Oil can win this series. What it can't do is lose it themselves with terrible decisions (first three goals were all self induced). Oil got choked out in the neutral zone play once they got down. They have to get the first goal in game 6 and match the Panthers intensity. Razor fine edge with no safety net left. See what you got guys.

Worst part of that is it sounds like Dustbin will survive yet another season

Salesman of the decade
Pretty much can't believe he lotterally singled out Schwartz. Below is the actual qoute off the score

"That's a conversation with the staff, obviously our goaltending coach Dustin Schwartz, but with all the assistants, general manager (Stan Bowman), to kind of weigh in with how everyone feels and what's best moving forward," he said Sunday.

"And it's not an easy decision. We've got two goalies that have shown that they can play extremely well, win hockey games. We feel that no matter who we choose, they can win the game."

I wonder of these guys will learn that you need to shoot the puck and attack the middle of the ice if you want to score instead of meandering around the perimeter.

Anyway I think they're done, they've played like garbage outside of three or four periods this entire series, they don't seem to want it or care.

Knoblach not announcing starter just yet, needs to discuss with coaching staff and more specifically Dustin Schwartz. Sorry but if you're leaning on Schwartz opinion for this we are straight fking cooked already

If you're dumb enough to rely on that idiot you need to be fired as well. Frankly I am tired of this team and the media defending our subpar goaltending and this U of A never done this before mediocre goalie coach of ours torpedoing our season, year after year.

Jack Campbell, thinking Skinner was a starter and relying on a 3rd string journeymans heater to win a cup.

Marchand was inside the faceoff circle and the 3rd goal shouldn't have counted. I hate that the NHL has come this but here we are. Awful product on and off the ice.

I believe that the Panther's adding Marchand and the Oilers losing Hymen were 2 huge factors in this series. Hymen would have made a huge difference, and you would be hoisting the cup right now.

Probably not. The players and coaching staff have shown some really stubborn traits this round.

Hyman is a great player and a key playoff performer type, but he isn't a god. The way the Oilers are playing, even with Hyman, no way they are up in this series, let alone already won the Cup

I don't trust our tending enough to say "do", so I choose "die", unfortunately. I won't be shocked or anything if Skinner (assuming its him) plays well enough that we have a shot at winning, but I'm certainly not EXPECTING it by any means. Tending just too variable in a series as tight as this.

Now would be a nice time for Smilin' Stu to go on one of his heaters. We only need 2 games of it. Is that too much to ask???
