Yea that won’t impact buying from Fanfirst, they have tickets offered by sellers all across the world. But their pricing is in CAD, and they don’t double dip in service charges like the other US based sites.
If there was a similar site like Fanfirst for US based games, i would use that too. It was insane buying tickets from SeatGeek/Stubhub and paying over $300 in fees.
Sure , user name checks out.

And that matters what? lol
I am just sharing my experience with buying resale tickets from the past few playoffs, and how there is a certain website that are better for Canadian buyers for games played in CAnada. What is the matter with you?
If you know the basis of where this name comes from, and no it’s not political based.

Hint: it’s a common nickname for those that went to a certain program at Queen’s. lol. Polar opposite of what you think it means. Jumping to conclusions much?

Let’s put it this way. If they start Skinner I will root for them 1000% but they deserve to lose for being so stupid and so friggin far up Stu’s ass for no reason. It would make no sense at all, none.
Florida figured out real fast that Pickard has no problem going post to post

I don’t know how you don’t go with the guy who’s 7-0 in the playoffs, and possesses the highest combined winning percentage in the NHL this year. Pickard’s numbers aren’t stellar, but he always seems to make the saves to keep us in the game. It’s not like we’re having to score 6 to make up for his poor play in order to get the wins

The Panthers backed off after the first period. They had it in their heads the game was over. Rookie mistake. But the Oilers played terribly with multiple stupid penalties and turnovers.

Pickard played great, but I hope he buys Ekholm a steak dinner for preventing a sure goal.
Skinner doesn’t save that breakaway or that Bennet shot. Zero chance.

Even if Florida backed off we lose that game with Skinner in net. We have seen it so many times. We battle back and he lets in a stinker.

Pickard will start.

I’m curious about what they’ll do with the defence. Stetcher only played four minutes but Klingberg wasn’t getting it done either. Does Emberson dress again?

That Stecher play was sooooo bad.

I may be remembering wrong but didn’t Emberson struggle with pressure in the regular season?

I'm more curious what Knob does with the fwds. I think McDavids line could use a shakeup to hopefully get him going 5v5. I think Podkolzin should be on Leon's wing. I'd even be open to bringing Arvidsson in, but not sure who gets subbed out? Maybe Kap, though he had a nice assist on Walmans goal. Something like this maybe, reignite that top line from the end of the RS

Skinner-McDavid-Brown
Podz-Drai-Kap/RV
Kane-Nuge-Perry
Janmark-Rico-Frederic

I need you guys to calm me down a bit. Im so nervous for tomorrow's game. It's a best of 3 series where anything can happen. Their are no morale victories and we have two teams that continue to exchange chances.

My reasons for concern:
1. McDavid still hasn't found a way to score. Part of this is that his quality of linemates has declined due to injuries and that barkov is shutting him down.
2. Draisaitl despite scoring the GWG looks injured and didn't look great last game. Im not sure how much left he has in the tank.
3. Pickard gets the wins but scrambles in his net and has been extremely lucky with some of his saves.
4. How long can we continue to play from behind? This team needs to come out strong early but looks gassed.
5. Can we figure out a way to stay out of the box? Our penalty kill has been atrocious.

McDavid hasn’t scored and we’re 2-2 heading back home. He’s going to get a couple before the end of the series.

3 point night for drai. Not worried.

Explain the difference between a lucky save and a not lucky save?

If the team was gassed we would be finishing shitty not starting shitty.

The last point is definitely a problem. We still have no discipline and their PP skates circles around our PK. Stay out of the box and we probably win.

Pickard should be the obvious choice and I do think he starts but I wouldn't bet big money on it. They love going back to Stu

Start the guy that saved your ass last game

Klingberg getting 5 days off will really help him. If he draws back in, I won't be too worried. Probably just needed a game off to reset things and recover.

Marchand was really quiet. Maybe he's hurt
Maybe injured himself by ramming Oilers sticks into his own face.

1. It's only a matter of time until McDavid delivers a vintage performance. The fact it's a tied series without him potting a goal so far should scare Florida.
2. I actually thought Draisaitl got stronger as that game went on. He's still healthier than last season dealing with those broken ribs and finger(s).
3. Pickard is a good luck charm and the team plays more confidently in front of him. Bob has a major weakness that we can exploit and at 36 fatigue may become a factor.
4. Again, law of averages. This team is beyond due to have a game where they blow the doors off Florida and home ice will give them an adrenaline boost.
5. Gotta keep those sticks down. NHL refs will continue to be embarrassing but scoring on our own PP opportunities is just as important.

Manifesting a comfortable 5-1 win tomorrow before we lift the Cup in Florida in game 6. We deserve a couple of stress free games.
