Seriously I assumed Finns are just going to kill in this must-win game. I guess this year's team truly does suck.

Innala and Puistola just can't find the net.. I have a wild idea, what if we tried the guy with whom we actually won couple of matches?!

Just about done with this pass into pass into pass into pass into another pass-kinda gameplay.

Granlund getting in alone is good, but that was just a terrible deke after he got in. Not only did he wait too long to make a play, the play itself was weak. Wasn't that just an obvious shot?

I don't even feel that excited.. with the way we're playing we have zero chance of getting anything from strong Switzerland and Austria will likely win GBR..

I, for one, am shocked a team filled with guys who are 0.5PPG at best on Finnish and Swedish leagues can't score a goal. Granlund is pretty much the only guy who has skills to be in top six at this level.

I cannot shake the image of Finland scoring late.. barely making playoffs and winning the whole thing after everyone has written them off.lol

Man, I'm loving this game! I thought it would be like 4:0 for Finland after the 2nd period (sorry Denmark).

A win puts denmark temporarily into 4th spot. It would also setup an insane sequence that could actually result in Finland not making quarters (Austria would have to beat France).

Darkest before the storm?

Jalonen really thought he could repeat 2019. Achieve the big throw with a grinder squad + a few creative players. Create such a miracle again in his last tournament. He's probably seen too many Hollywood stories. Instead there is a Finnish "Aki Kaurismäki" winter depression in summer Prague.
