Prospect Info: Filip Mesar

Kind of sad what's happening to Mesar.

I remember when we drafted him, the videos I watched he was like a buzzing wasp in the offensive zone, very aggressive small forward that looked to be solid on his skates and with great mobility.

A little bit of Henri Richard in him.

We could use a player like that in our Top 9.

It's only practice set-up!

No, this is toying with a man's heart.

You're too trash to play on our top 6 but you're good enough to practice with our 1st line.

Who comes up with these strategies bro... I swear.

This is still his first pro season, no?

It's been rough... but everytime I see him he creates things. I hope we go on a long run and he gets some games in. I haven't lost hope.

I just hope he is working hard in practice. If not.... get rid of him!

It's one practice, one man missing a healthy scratch takes the place, that's it!

Toying with a mans heart…jesus man, nothing less lmfao. How cruel that organisation is.

It’s one pratice.

He gets to practice with the big boys, isn't that a good thing for Mesar? Good for him.

He is a European late 1st rounder who basically took the long est road possible (back to junior) in his D+3. Let see what he does next year in Laval, or if he is used as Part of a trade.

He got none of that “good thing” all year long.
Why do it now?

Its a weird vibe.

Is Vincent sending a message to the whole team by using Mesar? Afterall, they’re acknowledging here he’s good enough to be on the 1st line. Why did they categorically avoid any tests with the “big boys” all season long?

Were they punishing Mesar all this time?

Or did they finally realise he’s a 1st liner?

This will most likely not mean hes going to get dressed the next game but it shows signs that they’re prepping something. It just seems like they’re too deep into the season to try new things. Its hard to explain this move.

Im just confused as to why we never gave our selfs the luxuary to have a look of Mesar on a top pro line. Just to know what he can do?

Its like we’re afraid he might do well

Dont get it

He has to earn it, most of our top players started on the 3rd and 4th line and worked their way up.

He stagnated, that's why. When I play FC25, I don't play a 53 over a 81. You want the Fowler preferencial treatment, I understand; but at this point management would rather give Mesar his medecine.

Ewww you play fc25? I stopped at fifa.

It really depends, in “fifa”, if you drafted a prospect with 94 potential, even if hes 48, you try to play him. Depends how you play the game. In career mode i typically pick an ass team, put them in the english 4th division, stack the rest of the english leagues with the best teams of the game and try to climb my way up.

So in this situation i dont need 71 level guys who are 31 years old, i need young players with high potential.

The ahl is a developement league, the team is aknowledging Mesars talent by practicing him with the best so they know hes good.
Not sure what medecine they’re giving him, what they’re trying to cure him from but it sounds like he did a big booboo somewhere and hes either no longer part of the plans or they’re teaching him respek
