If the Capitals swung a deal to bring him back it would correct the biggest trade blunder in franchise history.

Great player and it would have been nice to have had him but don’t think they need RW depth. They have Protas and Wilson now and Leonard will be here in April.

Yes it is, and part of the reason why we don't believe he would ever waive his NMC. He's not going anywhere, but people can put together offers, and from the fan perspective we'll probably accept many of them, despite knowing it doesn't mean anything in the real world.

His wife is from South Ga- Savannah/Statesboro area

You can deduce that she would have sympathies to other southern cities/teams I.E. Carolina (Raleigh) as Eastern NC is culturally more aligned with the GA Low Country than Nashville (Mid South).

Regarding her career, she's not a top star and alot of artists in that genre live outside TN. Also shes not reaching a level of success to garner $8M+ per year.
