Instead of a suspension handed out by the league - the knuckle dragger in me would much rather have seen a Hab performing a similar cheap shot on Forsberg and/or a sucker punch that would leave Forsberg bloodied and concussed.

If there’s no fear of retaliation on the ice from an opponent - having a few days off of work is a nice vacation.

I counted to 1 (threshold for a late hit) and still managed to grab a cup of coffee before he actually threw that hit.

Really, really late hit and looks like he targeted head there.

Does he get suspended? Propably not.

Not getting the attention it deserves, the puck wasn't even remotely in the vicinity of the play, not sure how anyone can even remotely justify that lmao - more disappointed in his teammates for not just jumping him immediately/getting him at the beginning of the next period.

Habs usually wouldn't let this slide so I think he's right, they scored 2 goals early in the 2nd period and secured the W instead.

Refs have been brutal the past few games against the Habs. Not sure if the refs have some Habs players they don't like or are just in playoff form already
