Le Tricolore
Boo! BOOOO!
Super Soccer for the SNES has made me a lifelong fan of Argentina.
So hopefully they don't lose in the final this time around.

Oh, I know. I also don't really care. I just want to see some good games. They almost didn't qualify.
As for this year's world Cup.. not having the Netherlands in it really kills my enthusiasm

Yeah, Italy being out means I have given it absolutely no thought.
Ya when Greece qualifies it's more of a surprise than anything else. For me, Greece being out means........business as usual.

My friend and I beat the Nintendo team. f*** them for stealing our trophy after we beat Germany though!
I was so ****in good at that game.
you know, the names really stuck with me... EDSON, DIEGO... only when i grew up did i connect them to the real-life players, heh.My friend and I beat the Nintendo team. **** them for stealing our trophy after we beat Germany though!
Usually the host team automatically makes the World Cup, but if it's a joint venture between U.S & Canada, I guess U.S gets in and we just get some games?
It would be freaking awesome to have games played in Canada. It would be nice if we got in by merit. *Sigh*
Hopefully, Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton & Vancouver all get at least one game.

less diving + it is fun to ask Italian colleagues who Italy will be playing against nextAs a Swede I apologize on behalf of Sweden for beating the Italians in the extra round qualifiers. It's not the same without Gli Azzurri, there will be less diving though.
I hate the Olympic Stadium with passion and find it ridiculos & irresponsibe to invest any money in it, but if FIFA has any clue, they will schedue a match with Team France to be played there. That would be something.
I'm supporting South Korea, with absolutely no expectations going in. Likely the weakest team in the group, but should still put up a fight I hope.
RIO prez sounded like he just won a jackpot today. Roof will cost +300m + all other improvements will run the bill past 500m for sure. This isn't even counting ongoing yearly 20m from Quebec to support operations. A game including Canada and a game or two including France would be would be great.
Does anyone have details on all improvements to be made to the Big O for the World Cup?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't all WC matches have to be played on natural surfaces?
