There is no way NHL team owners agree to this unless they make money from it. Further, team owners and players won’t want to fly to Moscow. The series would have to be in the USA. The Olympics are next year, and as long as Russia is banned from that the NHL won’t agree to the game. This is just not gonna happen. A USA Canada rematch would get better ratings anyway.

The US and Russia are allies now though as per latest developments
