To be fair, Eller has been outplayed by Bourque the last few games. On the same token, Eller has been ****ed more by Therrien than any other player this year with the exception of Diaz and Briere.

Obviously those that think Eller can't use a game or two in the press box are not watching the games OR the stats...

Has anyone realized that Subban wraps his hand during 24CH? I think he might be nursing an injury.
Murray has been better than usual, but is still the most sheltered player on the team and is mostly getting bailed out by a rookie. He'll be in europe next year, and for good reason.
Eller has played a part in Bourque's improvement considering how many of Bourque's chances have involved passing by Eller.
But he is playing with no confidence, so let's stick him in the pressbox so we can play more grinders.

Yep, he surely hasn't setup bork on numerous chances in the past two weeks that bourque has either flubbed or gotten robbed. That didn't happen at all

It seems most people around here like Murray actually. I'm not entirely sure why, but to each their own.
How the hell has Therrien ****ed Eller?
That's a comical statement if I ever head one. If anything Therrien has been too soft on Eller, he's been playing like crap for 90% of the season and he's had his regular ice time and never been scratched while Briere gets benched, scratched and plays on the 4th line. Same for Desharnais early in the season.
Since October 12th he has 5-8-13 in 47 games and -15. This isn't a 5 or 10 game slump, that's over a half season. His minutes for the season are almost at 17, a ridiculous amount of minutes for a guy playing like crap.
Yeah, if only Desharnais would be shown the preferential treatment they've shown eller.

You also said Hamilton was on par with Subban before last season. I think it's pretty clear you don't know how to evaluate Dmen.

He ****ed him 'cause it should give him more confidence. He should use him more on the PK. And he should have kept the EGG line together. If DD needs MaxPac, not sure why Eller would not have needed Gallagher. You talk about stats and yet don't realized that when Galchenyuk isn't there, he does play with scrubs. Which is not what DD has. And even Gionta is better than anything else Eller has when, again, Galchenyuk isn't there. But even with Chucky there, they should reunite the EGG line. And should find another winger for DD/MaxPac. And if you want to play Pleks in more offensive situations, you need to give him a break on the PK and play Eller more.
