Second best goalie again tonight. What a brutal play by Skinner. Oilers hemmed in their own zone for over a minute and Skinner tries to poke at a puck instead of diving on it to stop the play, misses and it ends up in his net. What a brain dead decision to make in a game everyone else is busting their asses to try and win.

Disgusting goal to give up after getting back into this game. Absolutely killer tendency to give up end of period or start of period goals. Absolutely backbreaker against a team that doesn't make those mistakes. CANNOT beat yourself against elite teams or any team in this league. Oilers do it too often.

Disagree with the first bit. But yeah our centres have bad defensive positioning. McDavid and Draisaitl are particularly lacking when they're on the ice together.

Happens to a lot of teams. Just one of those years. They will need to retool a bit in a couple years but def seem to have a well built team right now. Everyone seems to be having an amazing season. Happened to Florida last year.

Bergeron almost done. Marchand on the back part of his career. That will change the dynamic of the team.

It’s their year. Let’s hope some underdog beats them in the first round like Columbus beat the bolts

Indeed. Any goalie with a brain just dives on that puck which is just sitting there. I wouldn't carp on it but its so regular with him having trouble decisioning on pucks that are just laying around. he just stares at them wondering. I mean he's the goalie, he has the advantage there of being able to glove the puck and he loses the high noon on hesitation. Which cost him the goal.

This season I don't even care about the playoffs because EDM is no where near good enough yet. I'm just going to cheer on McDavid trying to hit 150 points and to keep scoring to maybe hit 60.
