With Yams its never a sure goal. That we have an idiot like that always in topsix is just squandering goals over what we could have. jebus years later and I still have to watch this tool. ffs
Kinda looks like he couched up puck as well on 2nd goal at Bruins blue line

I've also noticed too often that the forwards leave the defensemen stranded. That being said, our defensemen don't have the aptitude to recognize open ice in front of them..

It's creating a flow. Bruins dictate just about every game they play.
Yeah you do that with hard work and tight execution. Bruins are dominating the league and they are all still fighting to the death in puck battles. They rarely make mistakes or miss assignments, and they have a highly accountable leadership group who sets the bar.

They should have dumped Yamo/Puljujarvi last year, all the signs were there that they weren't effective NHL players, even when they were scoring in short spurts.

Someday the Oilers will again have a GM who understands the concept of selling high, and I long for that day to come sooner than later

$6.1 million also between them this year. No joke there either.
Be 1 good player with that money
Properly played that should have been McDavid's man. The defenseman and McDavid crossed it up. McDavid should have stuck with the slow footed Foligno.
If that's a possibility... Oilers should have done that ages ago.
Agreed

These stats are out there by big companies who NHL teams use, but I would LOVE to see our dmen and who wins most of their retrieval battles
