Canada will win.

Finland is bound to play a bad game, and I think this will be it.

So let's get this straight.
Down the middle we have:
Lecavalier
Richards
Draper

3-2 Canada. Both teams have a large concentration of talent back from the 2004 World Cup. Both teams have something to prove: Finland wants to show their fantastic start was not a fluke. Canada will be very hungry after yesterday's debacle against the Swiss.

Canada must do two things. One is play with desperation. They didn't do that yesterday. The other is improve from their play yesterday. Now that they've had their seemingly perennial disappointing result, it's important to get better with every effort.

I thought I would never say something like this, but thank God Cole and Neal are doing this game today. If I had to listen to Greg Millen again, I'd consider offing myself. I had to hit mute several time during yesterday's game to avoid Millen's repetitions and stupid blather.

Finland actually look pretty good in the new-style jerseys. They are pretty much the only team who pull it off well. Of course that's probably largely due to how awesome their jerseys were to begin with.
