Fire couldn't put the PD away for good until the shoot out. As soon as they had the 4-3 lead , you knew there would be a late penalty and a PPG to even it up again. There were a few guys playing at a pretty good level on both teams, but overall the quality of play was a little lower than I remember from years past. Nothing really tape to tape, very few clean break outs. As always the commitment and emotion can not be questioned from these talented amateurs whose regular jobs only entail keeping us safe everyday. Great fun game to watch. Wish we would see the same effort from our millionaire hockey heroes.
