NBA as well. Recommend cameras, security systems, monitoring.

Think I mentioned in the football thread, but have to either get the family out of the house or hire security when you are away. Easier for the NFL players as it's like 2 days away. NBA/NHL, you are gone for closer to a week at a time, so not going to ask your family to leave the house.
Things can be replaced. But safety of family is the most important thing.

I can understand that it's easier for these people to target single male athletes since it's a low chance anyone would be home, but to burglarize a house with people inside is really brazen for sure.
That is scary.
